Associate Professor in Media Technology
placed at the School of Mathematics and Systems Engineering
The work tasks mainly consist of teaching and research in Media
Technology. Teaching activities consist of course responsibility,
course administration and examination, including the supervision of
undergraduate and graduate students. Additional tasks also include
leading and contributing to external projects and the development of
courses and educational programmes within the field. Administrative
tasks will be required.
The applicant must have a PhD in Media Technology or Computer Science/Informatics with an orientation towards new media and interactive systems or similar scientific competence. The applicant should also have documented experience from teaching in this particular domain. In addition, the applicant must have completed a pedagogic course for teachers within higher education or have equivalent knowledge acquired in an alternative manner, as well as proven teaching skills. Good proficiency in English, written as well as spoken, is also a requirement.
Competence related to the field of Collaborative Systems and Technologies, one of the research profiles at the School, will be considered of primary importance. In particular, the areas of teaching and research in our field include some of the topics listed below:
