On 1 January 2010 Växjö University and the University of Kalmar will merge to form Linnaeus University.
Programmes and courses
Växjö University offers a wide range of education; approximately 100 programmes and 1,200 single subject courses in more than 50 different subjects. The majority of those programmes and courses are naturally given in Swedish. Postgraduate degrees are available in 21 subjects at present.
Programmes and courses for exchange students
If you are an international student, your university has a formal exchange agreement with Växjö University and you have been nominated by your home university, then you are an exchange student. If you are an exchange student the following courses are offered:
If your are an international student who wants to study at Växjö University and your university doesn’t have an exchange agreement with Växjö University, then you are a non-exchange, “freemover”, student. If you are a non-exchange student the following programmes and courses are given in English:
