Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is a social creation process. In relations and interactions possibilities are created out of occasions, and out of possibilities new actualities see the light of day. Entrepreneurship changes our way of living by creating new practices for organising the everyday. Entrepreneurship belongs not primarily to business, or to enterprising behaviour, but to society. Entrepreneurship creates and renews societies.

The Entrepreneurship Profile has broadened the focus on entrepreneurship via a more thoroughly developed relationship to organisation studies.
Our approach is explicitly constructionist and we constantly try to develop a multi-disciplinary research group where (except for business administration) also sociology, pedagogy, economics, and design is represented.

Presently, the research conducted within the Entrepreneurship Profile is structured along four themes:

  1. The experience economy
  2. Design, entrepreneurship and innovation
  3. Entrepreneurship and learning
  4. Territorial dynamics

The Profile welcomes collaborations with those who work either within one of these themes or within entrepreneurship more generally. Welcome to contact one of us!
